The Sock Dragon by LyntonLevengood The Sock Dragon by LyntonLevengood
Hello, Feels like ages since I uploaded something new, been really busy. This is just something that consumed me the last few days.

Dragons, they have become rare in our day and age. They live secretive lives and the chances of seeing one are slim to none. Many of the great dragon species have perished.

This however is one of the little ones who have quietly endured even to the present day. The Emerald tree dragon or (Sock Dragon). Like all dragons the desire to horde treasure is overwhelming. However the lack of hordes of gold and jewels makes it difficult. This species has come to appreciate a different kind of treasure. This answers one of the biggest questions I have each day. Where do all my socks get off too? :)

Thanks so much for all the favs:)

Thank you for the DD! I'm truly Honoured. I hope that this image can help to raise awareness of the plight of this rare species of dragon:) Seriously, thanks so much!

The Sock Dragon by ~LyntonLevengoodirepresents a really funny and original scene with so many details and a fresh, natural feeling thanks to a beautiful use of greenish tones. Lovely! ( Suggested by FireFlyExposed and Featured by Atramina )

Did you go to school for art or is this all self taught?

I did art classes as a kid and took art as a subject in high school and some extra art lessons at the same time. Other than that I have been self taught ;)

I love how you extended the wing skin all the way to the hip. That is a true representation of how a dragon would look. :)
